Program objective

Our Doctorate in Sciences with a mention in Physics, has the objective of improve toward the doctoral formation of skilled investigators.

Because we are part of an international alliance of top school faculties, our program not only look for strength the base of physics investigation, but also promote the permanent participation of our student on the creations of innovated solutions which will impact positively in both the society and the scientific advance at global state.

How can I apply for this doctorate in Physics at UNI?

The application to this UNI Doctorate Program in Physics, in Interinstitutional alliances and with the support of ProCIENCIA, must be carried out in two parts, independently and parallel. Both with the same application deadline: March 15, 2024

Validate if you meet the initial admission requirements

Possess an academic degree of Research or Academic Master (Master of Science), recognized or revalidated if granted by a foreign university. The delivery time for the recognition resolution will be 18 months.

Pass the evaluation of merits and knowledge.

As an exception, the admission of applicants who passed the evaluation, who have completed their master’s studies, will be accepted, giving them 18 months to demonstrate obtaining the degree of Research or Academic Master (Master of Science). Otherwise they will be separated from the doctorate.

The applicant will register in the Postgraduate Unit, filling out the following form:

Payment for folder rights of S/ 250.00

The applicant uploads the following documents to a cloud folder

Request addressed to the director of the Graduate School.
Sworn declaration, obligating to comply with the UNI statute and the current regulations.
Cover letters from two (02) professionals who endorse the applicant for the Doctorate with recognized experience.
Documented resume with simple copies.
Copy of the academic degree of teacher and the certificate of studies, authenticated by the University of origin (they can also be authenticated by the UNI or a notary) or recognized if granted by a foreign University. In the case of students who graduated from UNI, it will be enough for the General Secretariat to confirm that their teaching degree is approved.
Simple copy of the national identity document.
